Ford uses a larger 1310 kWh battery pack to drive an extended range from 230 miles to 320 miles for a smaller 980 kWh battery.

In our experiments the Platinum Thunderbolt delivered 230 miles

during 75 mile interspersed hours. Clients can charge their

customers using the F-150 Bolt at home 110 and 220 volt outlets but can

also quickly charge a DC public truck at stations; According to Ford it can

take up to 44 minutes to be able to charge the battery from 15 to 80 per cent capacity.

The F-150 has been designed by Ford Lightning as a backup generator.

The truck can be fully charged to a normal

home for up to three days on a power

 outage according to the company.
