The Ram 1500 is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 306 horsepower and 269 pound-foot torque.
A 5.7-liter V8 engine with 395 horsepower and 410 pound-foot torque.
And a 3.0-liter "eco-diesel" V6 engine that produces 360 horsepower and 480 pound-foot torque.
All use an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The eTorque mild hybrid system is standard on the V6 and optional on the V8 and does not use fuel for acceleration,
but like the Ford F150 and Toyota Tundra hybrids, the ram cannot run on electricity alone.
..Ram is older and drives like him. The F150 and Silverado are harsh handlers and don't seem to be in great shape. However, Rams
uses rear coil springs instead of leaf springs, making his ride quality smoother and more customized.
