Manufactured by the same parent company, RAM and Dodge are now separate brands. 

Dodge still produces passenger cars with a deep-rooted tradition of performance.

Dodge was involved in NASCAR racing and the "muscle car" segment in

 the late 1960s and early 1980s. 

The Dodge Charger has become a hugely 

successful car, and to this day it is. 

Dodge's next step was to introduce

 a line of compact cars and Dodge's popular caravans and trucks.
