The two cars are very different. The wiper's first look was a 2002 version 

of the Dodge Viper Simple

 Shredder which featured an 80-liter V10 engine

 that made 460 horsepower. 

 It's a rear-wheel-drive engine and a six-speed manual transmission to handle that power. 

 However, the car weighs 3400 pounds. Meanwhile, 

 the 2006 Nissan 350Z replaced the Tesla and delivered 600 horsepower

 through Tesla's larger drive unit. It's also a rear-wheel-drive car and

 certainly doesn't have a conventional gearbox. 

The Nissan Viper weighs 4000 pounds.
